Thank you, thank you. I think someone is. At least, that’s what happened last year, so I can’t imagine why not this time around. The same for you guys, too, I’d love to see what you’re doing.
Oh, I’m sure they are, same for us. We’ll exchange tapes after the performances, then. ;) Oh, trust me. You will be blown away by our performance.
It’s official- Sam and I are taking the duet for sectionals, and I’m really excited. Mr. Schuester didn’t even hesitate when offering it to the both of us, which I guess says a lot about the faith he has.
It’s going to be fun, to say the least.
That’s great, Quinn! Congratulations. I know you’re going to sound beautiful at sectionals. I hope someone’s taking video of this.
[ Sebastian likes the way that Blaine curls back up into bed - he’s reminded of a puppy snuggling up for warmth and it makes him chuckle as he climbs into the bed as well. He’s a little surprised that Blaine curls up into his chest almost as soon as he’s in the bed as well, but his arm wraps instinctively around Blaine, pulling him in closer. ]
Cold? Well, you’ll have to warm me up. [ Sebastian mutters back teasingly, curling up under the covers as well, resting his chin on top of Blaine’s head as he curled up. ] Anyway, go to sleep. You and I both need it, it seems like.
M’trying. [Blaine says, his words starting to slur as sleep pulls him under again. He can never express how much he loves being wrapped up in Sebastian’s arms; how safe the other boy makes him feel. He yawns again, body sagging as he finishes and the comfort he’s feeling takes over.] Night, Bastian. You sleep too. [In one last conscious movement, Blaine brings one arm up to rest on Sebastian’s chest, his fingers just stroking his friend’s face.]
[ He couldn’t help but smile a little at Blaine’s appearance, even if he feels guilty waking the younger boy up. He looks cute when he’s a little bit mussed up, and he nods when Blaine lets him in. He should say that he needs to get back to his dorm, but the prospect of getting to stay with Blaine tonight instead tempts him too much. He waits until the door closes behind Blaine, before leaning in and brushing his lips against Blaine’s in greeting.]
Sorry for waking you up. [ He apologizes, brushing his hand through Blaine’s hair for a moment before taking his hand and pulling him towards Blaine’s bed. ]
Get in bed, you. [ He orders, smiling gently. He sheds off his blazer, folding it over Blaine’s chair, pulling of his tie next. He’s not sure how much clothing he should shed, but a moment after, he’s down to just boxers and an undershirt before he’s crawling into bed next to Blaine as well. ]
[Blaine’s so lethargic that by the time his brain catches up and tells him to kiss back Sebastian has already broken the light touch and is pulling him back to bed. He goes obediently, half stumbling over his feet as he does so.] It’s okay. I need to not sleep on my books anyways] Falling onto the soft mattress with an omph and a groan, he wiggles a bit to get comfortable again, curling up under his covers and sighing at the warmth they still contain.]
[Blaine doesn’t say anything when the mattress dips and Sebastian slides in next to him, just turns over to bury his face in the other boy’s chest for a few minutes.] You’re cold. [He murmurs, pulling Sebastian closer to him and flipping the covers over him as well.] No cold in bed.
[ Sebastian knows its late, but he doesn’t realize just how late when he trudges out of the library. He’s halfway through his midterms - thank god for that - and he knows that he’s just got a few more days of hell to get through and then he can cruise. This is the last of his grades to get sent off before college acceptances, after all, so he just needs to ace them this time around. Sebastian might pretend that he doesn’t have to try all that hard, like it all comes easily to him, but the hours he’s spent after Warbler rehearsals and lacrosse clearly say otherwise.
He’s heading back to his dorm room before he makes a somewhat last minute decision. Rather than heading back to his dorm, he makes a left, heading towards Blaine’s dorm rather than his own. He had been spending more time with Blaine recently - the younger boy had been good enough to spend time with him to study, to quiz him, and Sebastian appreciated more than he realized. Stopping by Blaine’s room seemed natural, and when he stopped outside the door, he paused. He almost went to simply check if the door was unlocked, but instead he knocked quietly, leaning against the door frame.]
[When the door opened, he smiles gently, tilting his head against the frame. It falters slightly as he looks at Blaine, looking confused.] I… Oh, you were sleeping, weren’t you…
[Blaine hadn’t meant to fall asleep, but when he’s awakened by a knock at his door he finds that the thought of getting out of bed is one he doesn’t want to entertain. Still, hearing someone knock and not answering is rude, and Blaine’s anything but that. Groaning, he pushes himself into an upright position. He’d just been studying before, so he’s thankfully in his pajamas already and not in an incredibly wrinkled blazer as he pads across his room to the door, opening it slowly and rubbing at his eyes.]
[Blaine blinks slowly at Sebastian, his eyes half closed as he too rests against the frame. He’s happy to see the other boy and although he’s still exhausted he figures he can push past that to hang out with the older boy.] Uh huh. I didn’t mean to fall asleep though. Here, come on in. [He backs away from the door, letting Sebastian walk past him and stifling a yawn.]
